It is directly across from Kamaole Beach Park 2, which is one of Maui's finest swimming beaches that is a wide soft sand beach that gradually slopes out making it ideal for adults and children to enjoy walking, snorkeling, boogie boarding, and body surfing. Professional lifeguards and a lifeguard station are also present on the beach.
